Some machines have an old type and a new type of the same board, for example on the Jack F4 line. Their connectors and firmware can differ, so match the type, not just the model name.

3. Compare connectors and voltage

Count the connector sockets and compare their layout with the old board. A board can physically fit and still lose trimmer, foot lifter or display functions if pins are missing.
