DDL-9000C Error Codes: Juki and Siruba DL720 Fixes (E007, E01)
This guide to DDL-9000C error codes explains each Juki and Siruba fault in simple words. Short answer: On a Juki DDL-9000C, motor faults show as E007, E072, E079 and E081, and a loose motor plug as E071. On a Siruba DL720 the codes are E01 (over-voltage), E02 (low voltage), E03 (panel communication), E05 (pedal unit) and E07 (motor locked). In nearly every case: switch off, turn the hand wheel by hand, reseat the motor and encoder plugs, check the socket voltage, then restart. A code that returns at once means the control box, pedal unit or motor needs replacing.
Different brands use different code lists, so a code copied from a JACK guide can mislead you on a Juki or Siruba. The lists below follow the official Juki DDL-9000C-F and Siruba DL720 manuals. For JACK machines see our JACK error codes hub. Stitch Partner has served tailors, boutiques and garment units since 1989 and delivers spares across India.

DDL-9000C error codes: Four Checks That Solve Most Codes
- Switch off and unplug. Wait a few minutes before opening any control box.
- Turn the hand wheel. If it is stiff, thread around the pulley or hook, a bent needle or a dry machine is the cause.
- Reseat the motor, encoder, pedal and panel connectors.
- Check the mains voltage at the socket before blaming the board.
Juki DDL-9000C Error Codes
| Code | Meaning | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| E000 | Data initialization | Not an error. Shown after a control box is replaced or reset |
| E007 | Motor overload | Head locked, material too thick, thread on the pulley, motor 4-pin connector, motor failure |
| E009 | Solenoid energized too long | Solenoid or driver fault; needs a technician |
| E071 | Motor connector slipped off | Reseat the motor output connector |
| E072 | Motor overload during thread trimming | Same checks as E007, plus the trimmer mechanism |
| E079 | Main shaft motor overloaded | Reduce load; check the feed driving motor |
| E081 | Feed driving motor locked | Check that the feed motor turns smoothly |
| E011 to E016 | USB or media errors | Switch off and check the media (not inserted, unreadable, write-protected, wrong format, too small) |
| E019, E022, E032 | Pattern file errors | File too large, missing or not compatible; check the USB drive |
| E204 | USB left in | Remove the USB drive and restart |
E007 and E072: The Codes You Will Meet Most
Both mean the main motor is working too hard. Turn the hand wheel first, then look for thread wound around the pulley, then confirm the 4-pin motor connector is fully seated. If the motor turns freely by hand and the code stays, the motor or the driver has failed. Dry parts add friction, so oil the machine and check the oil pump is delivering oil.
DDL-9000C error codes: Siruba DL720 Error Codes
| Code | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| E01 | Over-voltage | Power off, check the supply against the specification; replace the control box if the voltage is correct |
| E02 | Low voltage | Power off, check the supply; replace the control box if it is adequate |
| E03 | CPU communication error | Inspect the operation panel connection, reseat it, restart; replace the control box if it persists |
| E05 | Speed control unit connection abnormal | Check the pedal unit connector, restart; replace the speed control unit if it persists |
| E07 | Motor locked rotor | Turn the hand wheel; if free, check the encoder and motor connections, supply voltage and sewing speed |
E01 and E02 are supply problems first. A stabilizer usually cures repeat trips where mains swings through the day. E07 is the Siruba equivalent of a blocked motor: mechanical resistance is the top cause. On Siruba overlocks, spare parts such as the KC24 front cover hinge और E809 needle plate wear too, so see our Siruba 747 parts guide.

| Over-voltage | Eb, Err-04, Err-05 | Check supply | E01 |
| Under-voltage | EC, Err-03 | Check supply | E02 |

Send us your machine model, the code and a photo of the plug or board on WhatsApp and we will tell you the exact part. We deliver across India with cash on delivery.
For background, see Sewing machines on Wikipedia.
First, note the exact code on the panel. Then switch off and reseat every plug. After that, restart and test on scrap cloth. However, if the code returns, stop restarting. Instead, check the cable and the supply voltage.
Also, remember that a code is only a clue. For instance, an overload code may come from a dry machine, not a bad box. Likewise, a sensor code may be just a dirty sensor. Therefore, clean and check first, and then replace parts. As a result, you save money and downtime.
Besides that, always test after each fix. For example, run the machine slowly after you reseat a plug. In short, change one thing at a time. Consequently, you will know what fixed it. Finally, ask us on WhatsApp if you are unsure which part fits.
Moreover, keep the machine clean and oiled. Also, use a stabiliser, because unstable mains voltage causes many faults. In addition, never pull on the plugs. Therefore, a few minutes of care each week saves costly repairs. Otherwise, small faults become big ones.
Additionally, write the code on a tag near the machine. Then, the next operator sees the history at once. Similarly, note the date of each repair. Hence, patterns show up early. Thus, repeat faults get fixed for good.
अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्नों
What does E007 mean on a Juki DDL-9000C?
E007 is a motor overload. Check for a locked head, thread on the pulley, material that is too thick and a loose 4-pin motor connector. Turn the hand wheel by hand to test.
What does E07 mean on a Siruba DL720?
E07 means the motor is locked. Turn the hand wheel, then check the encoder and motor connections, the supply voltage and the sewing speed.
Are JACK, Juki and Siruba error codes the same?
No. Each brand and control box has its own list, so always use the list for your exact model.
How do I clear E204 on a Juki?
Remove the USB drive that was left in the machine and restart.
Can I fix voltage codes myself?
You can measure the socket voltage and fit a stabilizer. If the voltage is right and E01 or E02 stays, the control box needs replacing.
