The Detech Arrow Cut 125mm Cloth Cutting Machine is best for garment factories and cutting rooms that need more cutting height than a 110mm machine gives, for heavy fabric, denim, and multi-layer stacks. It uses the same round-knife design as our Cutman 110, sized up to a 125mm blade for deeper cuts in one pass.
Built for Heavier, Thicker Fabric Stacks
A 125mm blade cuts noticeably deeper than a 110mm blade of the same design — typically 38–45mm of cutting height, roughly 30–35 layers of light-to-medium fabric or fewer layers of heavier material like denim. That extra reach is the main reason to step up from a 110mm machine: fewer passes on thick stacks, and less risk of the blade bogging down partway through a cut.
The 120W motor and 110V/220V dual-voltage design keep it usable on standard factory power without a dedicated supply.
Key Features
- 125mm round blade for deeper, single-pass cuts on thick fabric stacks
- Suitable for heavy fabric, denim, medium fabric, and knit — not limited to light material
- 110V/220V dual voltage for standard factory power points
- Compact round-knife body for manoeuvring around pattern edges
Who It’s Built For
Garment manufacturing units and cutting rooms working with denim, upholstery-weight fabric, or multi-layer stacks that a 110mm blade would struggle to clear in one pass. Also suits tailoring shops that occasionally need to cut heavier material and don’t want to keep switching machines.
Benefits
- Fewer passes needed on thick or heavy stacks compared to a 110mm cutter
- Dual voltage means it runs on either a 110V or 220V supply without a converter
- Shares spare parts (worm gear, handle, switch) with our other 110mm/125mm Detech and Cupid-style machines

How to Use the Arrow Cut 125
First, place the machine on a stable cutting table with the fabric stack squared off underneath it. Next, switch on and let the blade reach full speed before it meets the fabric. Then, guide it steadily along your cutting line without forcing it through the stack. Finally, switch off and let the blade come to a complete stop before lifting the machine.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between this and the Cutman 110mm?
The main difference is cutting height: this 125mm blade cuts roughly 38–45mm deep, versus about 30–35mm on a 110mm blade. If you’re mostly cutting light fabric in smaller stacks, the Cutman 110mm is lighter and easier to manoeuvre; if you regularly cut denim or thick multi-layer stacks, the extra reach on this 125mm machine is worth it.
How many fabric layers can it cut in one pass?
It depends on fabric weight — expect somewhere around 30–35 layers of light-to-medium fabric within its 38–45mm cutting height, fewer layers for denim or heavier material.
Can I run it on either 110V or 220V power?
Yes, it’s dual voltage, so it works on both a 110V and a 220V supply without needing a separate converter.
Does it use the same spare parts as other 110mm/125mm cutting machines?
Yes. It takes the same 110mm/125mm worm gear and replacement handle used across Detech, Cupid, and Lejiang-style 125mm cutters.
